Faults with meters are very rare, before you ask us to investigate there’s a test you can do first to see if your meter is recording too much usage. Turn off your power at the fuse box, this should stop any usage being recorded on your meter so if your meter is still recording consumption it’s likely there’s a fault. We can carry out a Meter Accuracy Test which we’ll ask for you to pay for upfront. If the meter is faulty we’ll return the cost to you. Just get in touch to arrange an appointment.
